More than a year later and after countless tweaking, I've finally finished 'Castle Escape'. Castle Escape is a game where you play as an amnesic, downtrodden stranger and must seek to escape from your castle, or at the very least find something better to do. Different characters can be 'unlocked' and paths can be unveiled depending on the actions of your character(s), which lead to an assortment of different fetish-based endings where you'll travels will end, and new life will begin!
Be warned, although there is no adult 'explicit content', there are a lot of sexual and fetish undertones. Notably the game includes themes of transgender, age regression, transformation, subjugation, mind control and personality changes, as well as some other.
Although the plot is simple/non-existent, and the game caters to quite a few fetishes, it's ultimately a light-hearted game with whimsical humor and nonsensical dialogue. Anime and internet references are abound and some game endings actually revolve around such. For those looking for a simple, fluffy RPG game based around transformations, this is a fun game that I think many of you will enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI'm really loving the game so far! I'm especially fond of all of the different things to do and ways to do things.
ReplyDeleteBut this brings me to my main problem with the game. With so much to do, it's really easy to lose track of what you did and didn't do, or get confused trying to figure out all of the combinations of stuff that you can do. And when you want to go back and try those other options, you have to start from all the way back at the beginning.
I know it's a fair bit of work, but do you think you could post a small guide? Or even just a simple text flow chart of the endings and what you need to do to get them? It'd really help the player of the game see all that it has to offer.
How do you install this game to get it to run?

ReplyDeleteFound some things so far that are probably glitches.
-Any time I talk to the priest guy it immediately goes to the 4 choices with no dialogue prior
-If I let the priest make me a child, then drink the girl potion, it adds the little girl as the second party member instead of replacing the boy. Drinking the pink potion afterward changes the girl, but leaves the boy still the same.
-In certain forms (I'm not exactly sure which ones), the entrance from the girl's bedroom (the room with the ladder down to the priest's area) to the hedge area with the scarecrow in it doesn't work.
-I have the keys of light and dark, the sphere of omnipotence (2 actually, it respawns every time you enter the alchemy room), the sissi-whatever-cron, and pretty much everything else I can conceivably find in the game, and still can neither use said book nor open the gate to the garden. What gives?
I tried to run it but it didn't work. Some file is missing apparently.
